I don't even water cool, but even I know, barbs are OD and tubing is ID.

/e And this...

...is a hose clamp, and has variable D, hence the screw. It's neither a barb nor tubing. :/

I don't do plumbing and I will not be using a barb due to how ugly it is.

Will be running compression fittings. Just needed to do my homework is all

Compression fittings are very expensive. My angle rotary compressions cost about 20 bucks each.

xfx dd
it's a reference pcb with nonreference cooling

tbh i just cancelled my pax tickets, i might just wait for the 390/x & 980ti to drop and get a new graphics card altogether with better planning this time then sell my 290.

You got a few options really.

Because the gpu & vrm's arent linked by the same heatsink when using the g10, its a LOT easier to cool the VRM's to begin with.

The fan of the g10 works quite well on its own.

If you're still wary, Some people buy mini copper heatsinks (I actually have an unopened case of them as a backup, in case i needed them for my 280x) I found on my 280x & 980's that its really unneeded.

Just finished a good few hours of overclocking and tinkering on my new EVGA GTX 980 Ti (single card).

5930K @ 4.5 GHz --- EVGA GTX 980 Ti. Core 1535 MHz / Memory 2053 MHz (GPU-Z). Using Sheyster's BIOS for higher power target (425w > 350w) and fixed voltage, and watercooling using Titan X waterblock from EKWB.
