Well turns out i'm an idiot.

I ~ALWAYS~ Read comments before i buy something, And was in a hurry last night.

Managed to buy a sd card that had all 1 star reviews, Card quit working.

Shows as a 1tb micro sd now

Anything you add / format / partition / etc. Gets erased the second you un-plug it from your pc.

Fuck.

Lee rage smash.

Picked up a Sansa clip zip, For $25 for Black Friday.

Nice, Cheap, Small, Effective Flac player.

Got it to play like 20 minutes, then it froze & i had to format it.

Happened a few times.

Said fuck it, And modded the firmware to Rockbox, As i was thinking of doing it anyways.

Works great now.

Buy 64gb micro Sd card, So i can fit all my flacs onto it

Spend fucking nearly 3 hours copying 50+ gb of music to it (@5mbps for some reason)

To find out that its the wrong format, Needs Fat32. And sd cards over 32gb are by default Exfat

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

So now i re-formated it. And i have to re-copy all my music over to it.

Fuck.

Fat32 ran on win 2000 limited to 32 GB while 98 had no such limit. It was fixed later to do the same so it is possible to run higher but was not designed for it.

You're right. They designed 64gb as "Exfat" Even changed the entire thing.

It wasnt MADE for fat 32, But works 100% fine with it.

It's like a hard drive, You can format it to anything you want really.

/e

awww shiii

Just finished the 2 hour~ Transfer of 55gb to the sd card lol

Building music database, Please wait.
