so lg wants to send a technician because they say there were no stutters in my sent in video lol. looks like a fucking flipbook but whatever.

he will be there tomorrow and im not gonna open the door again until he fixes this shit or takes it with him to replace/repair/reinstall/smash it. next tv is 100hz or better to be sure the quality is "top notch"

i am not sure. most likely no oled.

you go into the store where they display like 100 tvs. sure the oled is breathe taking but only in the store. as soon as you are home there is only one tv so you dont see the difference and the brilliance that much anymore.

i can get a led with a super good panel for half the price and its still awesome enough for any movie youd like to watch. im tending towards samsung atm but a normal one, none of their fake oleds called qled.

Remember that at home you're using different cables and boxes than they do in the store.

maybe not but i think any good hdmi cable should do the job. cant blame my equipment as it works great on my other tv. i was hoping its just a cable at first

tv is being picked up today for "repair"

if nothing changes the procedure will be done twice more. after that i have the legal right in germany to ask for a refund no matter what.

so im going to go this way. still hope they can fix it tho with an update or downgrade to a working firmware. love the tv itself even tho the webos isnt my favourite os on tvs its still in the tops

came back today. problem remains. gonna urge lg to repair again. lets see XD

I have an 65EF9500 2nd gen lg oled and it looks better then it looked in the store :/ comparing to all the other tvs in my house there's no comparison the OLED is significantly better.

lg technician came to my home. he resetted the whole thing and booted it with a different firmware. problem gone. wouldnt tell me what he did so if it happens again im screwed again lol

Can you try hooking it up as a pc monitor and see if text looks sharp?
