I'm still waiting for proof of this.

Intakes have 100's of cubic feet or air to draw from, whereas exhausts have 2-3 cubic feet to draw from.

I'm so curious as how intakes can't get their rated cfm. :)

It's common sense, man.

When air has to change direction (going around the face of a PC case that covers the fans) or goes through a filter (restricts airflow as a tradeoff to help prevent dust), you lose pressure. Do you really need a source for that..?

Yeah I need proof that 2 in 2 out is not neutral or at minimum, positive case pressure.

/e Yeah, that pesky air...only lives on the sides of the case. :/

/e here, since you missed quoting my LAST statement...

I will assume you meant...stated. But by your own comment.."stating" something means jack shyt...lets see the proof.

/e Oh lemme guess...you're gonna say filters restrict an intakes air flow but exhausts aren't restricted because of case seams. Puleeze.

Ya can't have both. :)

I would think that you don't lose any pressure on exhaust (unless it's going through a radiator, in which case you use SP fans to balance that) because there's typically nothing blocking it. Any fans on your CPU are meant to help push through to exhaust, and even if you don't have a CPU fan the airflow is typically fairly unimpeded. At least, if your fans are set up correctly it shouldn't be.

What do you mean by case seams? I don't understand why that would matter...

Well here's a few facts...

Air bends...no problem.
Air doesn't ONLY live on the sides of your case.
A room (where the intakes get their air) has 100's of cubic feet of air.
A case, where exhausts get their air has only 2-3 cubic feet of air.

Yes, maybe 12 air molecules get impeded by the filters.
Even more yes..is the fact that exhaust fans are ALWAYS starved for air.

So when I said: 2 in, 2 out is neutral..it pretty much is. If not neutral then it's at least positive air flow.

He collects ssi for mental issues so he has no common sense on simple fact you Are drawing air into a box and there is resistance not much but there is small loss
And exhaust is going into big room with no resistance
