so i have my GF's work laptop

moved rufus and the iso to it in order to write and cannot.

cant use the official windows tool because no admin privillages

If your gf's work laptop was given to her by her work, then you may not be able to get admin privileges.

If you still have your copy of Win 7 or Win 8.1 or w/e ....just install it on your comp, then use your comp to make the USB for Win 10 install.
