Just put the 8600 GT back in the old comp...the GTX 280 was too big and hot for the POS case with the bazillion 80mm fans :/

He's computer is an upgrade for all the knuckleheads out there. The 965 is way better than his 955. He's getting 8GB of DDR3 1866 ram over his old 2 or 4GB DDR2 1066 pc2 8500 series I believe. Those two alone are upgrades let alone he has a 16GB matching set of platinums with Micron chips. Ghot could go into detail more but it is an upgrade. He's been scouring the internet for ever to make sure his set is top notch. Unlike you guys Ghot Google everything and reads forums on every item and PN code lol.

yeah and Ghot found out...AFTER he placed his order...that the 965 is only warranted up to 1333Mhz RAM. The 4170 is warranted up to 1866Mhz RAM. CPU-World...should put that info at the TOP of the damn page, instead of in fine print at the bottom LOL

/edit They will both RUN with higher freq. RAM, but then the warranty is void :/ Like....Google this: HDZ965FBGMBOX the 965 manufacturer's code...and read the details at the cpu-world link :/

I read that damn page 4-5 times before I scrolled down FAR enough to see the RAM warranty limits :/

Eh.. I asked you two days ago why you went 1866 but you went on and on how it was better. LOL. I'm glad you finally decided to get the fx4. There's only so much bullshitting I can do for you before I get called out. Lol! Off to do that stupid research paper now.

/edit ....and btw it took cpu-world's fine print and then reading about 40 forum and manufacturer's speechifying, to discover that. Also, the Dominator Platinum's only go DOWN to 1866Mhz ^^
