Not real impressed with your turtle's crib there, yuki. Time to upgrade that next

He's outgrown it. Also, ISO turf.
For my pc, I won't post pics because lazy and it looks like everyone else's. Pretty much standard i5, ati 5770 budget build.
*I lie. Pics:
That's my desk. Little 19" Asus monitor. All I could afford. Keyboard came with my old computer like 6 years ago. Mouse is like 4 years old.

The innards. Pro cable management lmao! Ummmm, gangster stock i5 cooler. Overall, I should have done more research. Was my first build, and I bought a few components that I would not have chosen if I built it today. That said, however, I've had zero problems with it, and I'm very pleased with its performance. I have not and will never need to do anything very system intensive, so it's adequate.

Lastly my desktop. I took that photo at Kabetogama Lake on the Minnesota and Canada border. Picture turned out weird... And yes, I have 4 desktop icons, and an absolute labyrinth of files within them.

pro fuckin cable management dude lmao.. awesome.
took a pic of the inside of mine real quick. i did have the cord management very neat, but after moving the fans around like 10 times... i just haven't gotten to it yet.
and yes the fans sticking out, meaning the side panel doesn't go on. BUT, i DO have a setup that i used for a little bit that allows everything inside with side panel fully on. I just wanted better cooling for the moment.

cooling my 4650. little thing gets hot. ever since i added that little fan ontop of the original cpu fan, having the two on top like that created like a wind tunnel effect and it's been staying significantly alot cooler.
btw, nice outside photo.

I posted pics >< I'm glad you are considering getting the turtle a nice pad for the winter :) In the meantime, it would be an easy solution to sink either a small sandbag or rock that rises just above the water level so he has a place to lay and "sun" as turtles love to do. An upside-down sunken clay flowerpot would also offer a nice flat sunning platform.
ah and this turtle is a trouble maker

the old basking floater, she chewed the shit out of it. When ever we put a rock in it for her to lay on, she just climbs out of the cage and free falls her way to the ground ( concerning for her safety ). Our solution, we usually just take her out for a couple hours in the daytime. the thing the tank is sitting on is pretty neat, has a bar middle that perfectly lets me place her heat lamp there; so she chills there soaking up the heat. The rest of the time she's trying to climb up walls and pin herself between objects lol.
