Not according to the IRS. Unless you make 2k or more it's not a business but hobby and then you can't write your taxes off as a business expense. I believe the word you meant to use is passion. Your passion can be your career but your hobby can't be.

IRS cannot trace back cash money, they can, however trace statements/credit/bank records transactions
