Going to be slow for me since I have no good video cards to use the advanced expert mode it takes 4 days to do a project 8900 on a A10-5800K singled out gpu only.

Well we folded 1.3 million ....and to get to the top 100 we only need 399 million more

looks like not using my computer for 2 days except for watching cartoons has paid off , lmao

Battleship turned me onto the "client-type advanced" idea....and then I posted on the FAH forums as well...

....as you can see, even though the CPU is not IN the Slots Tab...when in the client-type advanced mode, it runs about 13%, and even though I'm getting 155K PPD, up from 65K PPD, the entire comp is much more responsive and useable while Folding.

The changes I made are in posts #414 and #415 of this topic.


If you have a GPU like 7850 or better or 580 or better, I think anyone will get way more PPD in the client-type andvanced mode running only the GPU in the Slots Tab. It won't take effect till it finishes the current WU.
