So I have a house that I'm currently upgrading the internet access in from 3mb to 60mb. I'm going to purchase a new router soon because the old one is nearing the end of its life cycle. The house is considered emergency shelter. Therefore, it has 50+ occupants going in and out of it each month. Currently, I have it set-up so that no one but staff can have access to the WiFi. This is to prevent someone downloading something illegal. I would like to change this and offer WiFi to the people that come and go each month. However, I don't want them to have access to the main wifi password. I know that some routers let you set-up guest login's. Is there a router out there that will let me assign an individual password to each guest login, while also providing me with the ability to restrict or manage access? For instance, sites like pirat3b4y would need to be blocked. Is there a better way of going about this? I don't have very much networking experience. I just trial and error everything until I get a desired result.
