Well i linked you the 64bit version, Not the 32bit

The usbtool is a stand alone prog, It shouldnt have needed any other downloads.

Not sure how you're having all these issues with a simple windows usb.

I build a 1000$ pc and the only problems I have are my case fans aren't plugged in and windows won't go on a usb stick.

The fuck.

And you gave me x64, not x86. :P

edit: when the tool finished, it said "files copied successfully, but could not make your drive bootable. download bootsect.exe from the microsoft store". I had to google it.

32 bit only supports 4gb ram, right? and it corrupted my usb drive somehow after using it in windows usb tool.

^ Same concept from FAT(32) / NTSF(64) when it comes to single file size (and total capacity), if you have a movie (usually HD.mkv) over 4gb, u cant copy it to a FAT (usually default) formatted flashdrive, and even if u format the flash to NTFS, lots of consoles/smarttvs only recognize FAT on usb like PS3s (even though the PS3 requires an NTFS internal system drive for OS and clearly is capable of reading it through SATA) in which case ur forced to transfer/stream over network/mediaserver. And ofc if your going to install x64 OS it requires NTFS system partition/drive, however FAT is still preferred for the iso extracted partition as it will boot without issues with a wider variety of env.

/on a more related note, i remember when i was installing WatchDogs, it was one of the first games to require a 64bit OS. However, it installed itself into x86 dir and in fact ran in 32bit... this discrepancy really bothered me until I saw that it required 6gb of ram

When creating a bootable USB device, I am getting an error about bootsect

To make the USB drive bootable, you need to run a tool named bootsect.exe. In some cases, this tool needs to be downloaded from your Microsoft Store account. This may happen if you're trying to create a 64-bit bootable USB device from a 32-bit version of Windows.

DLing .exe's is fine, just don't "run" them till you scan them at Virustotal.com

It's even better when they come from reputable sites. ;)
