So many answers and none are what the op was looking for. Lol
Wireless can be just as fast as wired. That said, wired almost always guarantee a full, strong connection. Also, though your router may be able to reach your device, but can the device broadcast back to the router.
What idiot made guarantee have a U in it? English is the dumbest language ever.

So i got a dumb question but well i dunno so:
Does wifi internet i get from my wireless signal ( from my router) suffer any from being wireless?
Meaning, is it better if i connect to my pc with a cable or wifi is absolutely the same?
Go ahead, mock me all you want, fair enough, but, does it?
Thx
Never mentioned speed (because obviously your ISP is your weakest link, exception being local sharing / streaming), and yet ur entire response was regarding speed and strength... And to be more specific about the exception, the local network will benefit from cat5/6 because it handles individual connections at at time, while a WIFI has to mediate signal.
And ofc all the things I mentioned before...Quote (LulzSec @ Aug 30 2014 07:12pm)
The obvious answer is as King said, there are many things that can effect wifi stability, especially when ur sharing the (wifi) network with qos engine. There are much fewer variables when it comes to CAT5/6.
As far as LOCAL network sharing/streaming OF FUCKING COURSE u would want ethernet all around...
