No. Those they do have Anny versions of K70x. I'm not to sure of these 712 yet.

Those K712 have pre-selected transducers and are individually tested and numbered. So they are not rebranded 701s like you say.. lol They are improved and rebranded 702!

702s, not 701. The +3dB is noticeable but people are saying it should be more around +5/+6.

Wasnt saying it isnt noticable, Just i wouldnt pay $200 for 3db :P

lol But you can't say they're the same. They sound the same! lol But the K702 has a detachable XLR cable that can be upgraded improving the sound. It also has pre-selected transducers and it personally tested and numbered. So from what I've been reading and seeing the K712 has an increased lower end sound, detachable cable, etc. Is it worth the difference in price? Probably not.
