I dunno, I took my 120 lb shepard/husky with me cross country in my truck, he loved it. But he was older than your puppy.

/e Rode in the front seat of my truck, ppl on hwy 80 were like....wtf, when they saw him just sitting there in the passenger seat. Even found motels along the way that let my dog in the room, as long as he didn't bark, and was house broken.
