Not like we got a choice it’s either nvidia or amd and if they cost the same I’m going with nvidia every time. Wish there were more choices maybe in a year or two amd catches up with rt/dlss.
The VRAM on amd actually matters a TON for me as a VR user.
the quest 2 renders at basically 4K so my 2080's 8gb of vram isn't cutting it. have to do Meduim or low on HL Alyx to make it run smoothly because it's sub 8GB vram usage.
Having 16GB to run high textures and maybe even super sample.
