Maybe he should have done his research. Because the employee definitely did not "recommend the tool". He just said it was okay. Entirely different. (Although, to be fair here I wouldn't really expect you to realize that)

Blizzard said using the tool is okay. Who cares about the wording? Just try to help this guy instead of arguing among yourselves.

If you knew how the program worked you would be asking for one. Diablo 2 was written during the days of Voodoo cards. So what the glide program does is trick Diablo 2 into thinking you're running a Voodoo card. Bam. D2 works no problem. Great little fix they wrote.

I thought it was written in OpenGL but I remember Microsoft wanting to push Direct X since it was new for Windows.

Doesn't matter, still a third party tool that modifies the D2 experience.
