Also issue is not ram related. All ram posted on a z170 with correct timings and voltage

/e Like I said earlier, if you can get through to ASUS 2nd tier tech support, and gently complain...
They may send you a new BIOS chip for free.

At worst they will give you a link to the BIOS chip in their eStore, which will be $14.99.
