Also the Re class drives support TLER - time limited error recovery. which in short makes them a better choice for raid arrays.

Buy quality like lacie or G drive. they are sorta macish.....and $$$$ but unlike seagate and WDD drives they will last you more than 2 years. They actually use business class models from both seagate and WD but the difference is the cooling and heat sinks they use. not to mention the wildly faster transfer rates of thunderbolt if thats an option for you. also all the models or atleast most are 7200rpm.
