I prefer to submerge them in water myself. Never can be too safe.

It's more complicated than that but yeah. You remove the heatsink and fan, back bracket, some other shit, etc, etc, etc. Then when all you have is the PCB, apply thermal pads and compound, secure the PCB to the block and install the backplate. It's easy just expensive if you mess up.

edit: Ordering a few more things but I feel like I am forgetting something I need.

1 thing of Prolimatech PK-3 Thermal Compound - 5 Grams

Went ahead and got two tubes of Prolimatech PK-3. I forgot how far 5g go but I am going to redo all my computers and components.

Maybe if there's room get a smokey transparent black and put a cold cathod or 2 behind it

I've already got CCFL. I'm playing around with acrylic. If I get black tubing and ram blocks I can clean up the loop.
