$100,000 build? Couldn't do that in one computer for gaming. You'd be going into other stuff.
Basically if you only had one computer... it'd be as many Xeon processors as you can fit on a motherboard, with as many GTX 580's you can fit on a motherboard, with as best possible liquid cooling you can do, with as much RAM as you can get your hands on, with like... 8 SSD's in raid for as fast performance as possible (wouldn't want more... don't want a ginormous failure rate chance). And then eyefinity with 6 screens, each being something like a 30 inch IPS panel (Dell or Apple), and then an extra one smaller screen for other tasks which may be better on a smaller 22-inch screen. And then five different mice, each a little different (one better for photoshopping, one better for RTS like starcraft, one better for shooters, etc). And then three different keyboards... one wireless to take around and use a touchpad... one mechanical... and one silent if you need silence at the given moment. And then a $1000+ high def webcam. And of course studio-level speakers costing $5000 plus a $1000 subwoofer and $1000 amplifier... and $1000 headphones... and an insane chair let's say a $1000 designer chair... a $3000 executive desk which goes nicely with everything... a Logitech G27 racing wheel since there's nothing better... oh 3 more screens (3D screens) if you ever want to do 3D eyefinity.
Then maybe we're getting closer to the $100,000 mark... but not quite. We'd have to go on and on, fitting in trinkets here and there. Tablet (art tablet) here, microphone there, expensive joystick, etc, etc. We'd be getting into things like laser pointers if you're having a LAN party and want to do a presentation on a replay on your six 30-inch screens. Hah.
oshit
