Can the 5850 OC to 5870 without overheating and keeping a good temp, just need to know if bigger games comes out later this year or next year.
Anyways I think I'll go single gpu and upgrade to a better whenever needed, but that might be in a long time before the needs for it.

if you are planning on playing 1650 x 1050 or less, a single 5850 can rape all the blades of grass in crysis, so just get it and be happy that you dont have to play with your onboard gpu anymore.

get a 5770, its perfectly capable @ 1280

How many times are we going to tell you that at 1280x1024 you don't need:

a 5850
crossfire (ever at that resolution)
more that 1 16x PCI-E slot

I know that you may just be a little retarded because things aren't sinking in but you are wasting a lot of money to drive graphics to a small, shitty monitor.
