Just saw this on IMGur, felt it would be a shame not to share./e ....and this what I realized, when I first started taking calculus...after this, all was clear./ee Although, I didn't have w/e program drew this, at the time...I made a COS and a SIN waveform out of cardboard, with slots in them....then with the help of two other friends...one pushing the COS waveform and one pushing the SIN waveform...and me with a pencil in the slots where the waveforms intersected. I still remember how amazed I was that the two waveforms at right angles to each other, drew the "unit circle".
I'm so jelly, that you folks have these kind of programs these days. It would have made Calculus/Physics so much easier
After the professor was trying to explain it, i raised my hand and asked...so, if I had those two functions moving in sync at right angles, and a pencil at where they intersect, it would draw the "unit circle" ....he was like YEEESSS. It was like an epiphany.
