Take the aspect of counter strike. Then take away the guns. Then give everyone really big fucking medieval weapons. Now run around screaming at people as you chop heads off.
I can't really describe what Chivalry is like other than it's a madhouse of people swinging weapons and chopping limbs off. It's just the most mindless fun I've had in years. Though it is all skill based as you will see when you face people who are rank 50 and above. They may parry or block your attack. Perhaps feint an attack so you block and then counter with an overhead or a side sweep and take your head off. It is hard and challenging but SO FUCKING REWARDING!!!
There isn't an overpowered class either. I've seen people snipe with bows, crossbows, javelins, firepots. I've seen players one shot everyone with a giant mallet. Some of the extremely good players use the Man At Arms which can use a dodge maneuver to evade an attack or leap in past someone's guard to stab them in the face!!! IN THE FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can tank, I mean tank, with Knights if you know how to block correctly. My favorite is the Vanguard as I love jumping in the middle of a cluster-fuck and swinging a Zweihander across everyone's headpiece. Then I run away taunting and laughing as they all give chase only to be met with Archers pelting them with slings and rocks. LAWL!!
