update: soaked in rice overnight, everything seemed to be working fine. I tried to send a text to my friend and the phone restarted out of nowhere.
After restarting, the screen wasn't working(but the phone was on).
Left it in my pocket with the battery removed for the entire day. Put the battery back in just now and everything works fine...dafuq

what you needed to do was soak it in 91%+ rubbing alcohol then drain it and get desiccants with it in a ziplock to remove any/all moisture safely.
