Not a bad idea. Could do a comodore 64 emulator. It used the 8500 and 6510 cpu's and was clock at around 1mhz.
Since the game and system itself was basically all text it wouldn't be that hard to emulate it as there is no need to emulate graphics or any other parts (as long as the cpus were sort of like x86 in which you can issue system calls to print to screen and such.)
Will have to look at how the 8500 was designed and read up on its low level details of how they implemented its registers and instruction set.
I think it will run on just about anything...even the 8080 etc.
/e Hell, do what I did...after I got tired of Zork I just wrote my own Zork - like games, in Q-Basic.
