Not me...I never had an Intel rig...When Ninja suggested I change them...I had to look in my manual...coz I was pretty sure...I didn't have those settings.

But I AM pulling a HermIone...in that, with this CPU I'm gonna try and find the lowest voltage I can, that's still stable...then I'll have a starting point for overclocking this sucker :)


/e However, when you had an Intel rig, I may have mentioned that to you...from just seeing it on overclock.net.


/ee I remember you posting about under volting...about 8-9 months ago...so I thought I'd give it a try :)

on my 4100 i got 4.5 with 1.046 volts, something crazy stupid like that

yeah I'mma try to get down to about 1.2v un OC'd...these 4170's are a tad hotter I guess, and I'm pretty sure it won't go near that low of a voltage. on auto, un-OC'd it hovered at like 1.35 - 1.42v :(

Sure there are. But, depends on the board. Boards not designed with heavy overclocking in mind won't have them. High end boards like ASUS Sabertooth or Formula-V have them.

I got the ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 and the latest BIOS....those settings aren't there ^^
