Horrible dream last night....

Since 1000's people started to complain about general computer power supply issues, a brand new chain store opened up...everywhere.
They would custom build power supplies for you, while you waited.
They had nice stores, smart employees and unlimited ability to customize your power supply.

So I figured I would try them out. Went to the nearest store, told them I wanted a 750W continuous power supply, what leads I needed, how long I need them and what my components were.
Then two guys started in on the task. It took about 2 hours I guess, They had free coffee and donuts, so time was not an issue.

After all was said and done, they brought out these two, spanking new 750W power supplies...they were gorgeous.


On our way to the cash register, we were talking and they were saying: "Don't know bud, but you probably should have gotten higher wattage.
I was like why? I been running two very old 750W continuous (825W peak) PC Power & Cooling power supplies from the old days, with no issues. They shrugged and looked like...well we told him.

Then we get to the register and they told me that they would cost $324.94 each. So I reach for my money and find out I have about $75 to my name. I was telling them, hold on a sec, I know I got a bunch of hundreds in here somewhere.
After looking through my wallet and all my pockets...just about $75 total.....THEN I woke up.



I guess there are two morals to this dream:

1. Always make sure you have enough power supply for your needs PLUS about 25-30%.

2. Never eat two Big Mac's and hour or two before you go to sleep.

Only if you are using chat roulette.
