Ok, this seems to be my average idle temps with no A/C....just the sash window open 4 inches.  Ambient room temp is: 60F or 15.5C.  Cooler is Hyper 212 EVO with push/pull.

Well since OCT 2012...I've left the Vcore on Auto....today I turned it down to 1.3V...and then ran P95 for 30+ mins ....CPU temp rose only 13C...not too bad. Tomorrow or tonight I'll try a lower Vcore. Nothing is OC'd atm, I want to find the lowest stable Vcore, before I start OCing. In the pic you can see the Idle and the 100% load temps. P95 ran 1024K FFT's the 8K FFT's.

According to the reviews I've been reading...I'll have to get this 4170 to 5Ghz to be equivalent to a 955 at 4.5Ghz. Also note that this 4170's Vcore doesn't STAY locked at the Vcore set in the BIOS :/

Set your LLC to extreme or a like value and your DVID/SVID depending on the motherboard. Also lower your PLL and all this should increase your stability. But to help with your question the LLC should lock or close to it your VCC.

Don't have those settings in an AMD BIOS bro :)
