That's pretty much what I want to do but incorporate it neater and better into linux. There is no reason why phones should be so abstracted away from normal computers. Using linux with some changes but left untouched in such a way you can still use linux (unlike android) is the way it should be.

Have it fully configured with a rasbian distro running the  airmon suite plus a few other things like, Reaver, Wire Shark, Pyrit and Cowpatty etc etc.
Have already tested WEP and WPA/WPA2 with suscess. Now to try out a WPS then will proceed to teahing my son how to pentest (hack wifi)

Looking into a custom case to be designed as acrylic is much to brittle and I still need to mount my micro fan.
Managed to get the Rasberry pi to 1.2Ghz stable from base 700mhz.

Acrylic comes in different types, you likely received a case laser cut out of extruded acrylic since it's cheaper, however this builds up internal stresses so it's brittle. Cell cast acrylic is much more durable and you'd be hard pressed to break it.

I was debating having a friend send me some carbon fiber glass from his work.
Have it laser cut then sanded and coated.

like that design patteren on it but yeah need to looka round.

You can't cut anything that has epoxy without suppling inert gas to prevent oxygen at the cutting point. Or else shit just melts and gets gooey.

Also some things you just can't cut like some pbc which gives off an explosive gas when trying to be cut. You can test it out with a lighter and note the flame color when burning it.

Uhh, not sure what method of cutting you're talking about but you can definitely mill epoxy resins.
