After all these years of watching movies, styored on the HDD, on the TV. I've always had a problem with the FX sounds being way too loud, and the character voices being too low.

Found the solution. Remember, I'm audio - visual challenged. :)

Follow up.

I don't see any "enhancement options" either unless I have the Nvidia control panel set to include the TV as a monitor.

Only with the TV set as a display, will it's properties page show the "enhancements".

That's a useful feature! It must be like Smart Volume Management that Creative cards have; I use that when watching streams and so forth.

Is that an Nvidia specific feature?

Dunno.

I have Realtek onboard audio, and Nvidia HD audio (from the Nvidia driver).

Well I won't fan boy on you....but, I'm a happy camper, now that I found this setting.

Out of every damn, movie on my HDD, at least 75% had fx/voice volume issues until I checked "Loudness Equalization". Now the audio is perfectly balanced.

/e On a side note...there are also audio settings on the TV OSD itself. But at least on my 37" LG TV, none seemed to help.
