I use to make 180k when I worked on well rigs.. but I spent too much time away from my family so I decided to leave it and get my degree in hydrology so I could teach college netting about 70k a year plus benefits and a bunch of time off during breaks.




Because I quit this job over 2 years ago when I was moving from Montana to NY.. Don't have any pay stubs.. I throw them out after my taxes come back cleared.

I'm not an engineer.. I'm a geologist.. and I keep records long enough for my taxes to clear. I keep W2's for 2 years and pay stubs until my taxes clear and then they go bye bye (w2 = t4 in america)... I don't like clutter and trash in my house

I made about 5k less than the median.. 178k was about what I was making. Idk why you would do that.
