I can cook meat like no ones business, but things that require steps or things that have to all come out finished at the same time...just not my forte.

I can't even make Rice A Roni..even with supervision. LOL


/e I mean, I know I can look up the recipe for deviled eggs, but even just making hard boiled eggs is a challenge for me. lol

Now filet mignon, I could handle no problems. But if I tried to make a coconut hazelnut crusted blueberry topped cheesecake, it would be the basis for a new horror movie. :D

Usually wipe my steaks with basalmic vinegar & then cracked pepper / little bit of onion powder / pink sea salt & then let it sit for an hour~ on the counter.


Basalmic makes the steaks SLIGHTLY sweet & More tender :3

According to my now all but extinct family, especially my dad, and his dad etc., it's a mortal sin to put ANYthing on a fine steak, (filet mignon, ribeye etc.) except a bit of salt. :)

/e Literally, if we even attempted to put anything on a good steak before or after cooking, we weren't allowed to eat it. Not kidding.

Thats why i use what i use, It doesnt really change the taste of the steak, Just enhances it :)

Its not like i'm heavily marinating it with something / using a1
