According to my now all but extinct family, especially my dad, and his dad etc., it's a mortal sin to put ANYthing on a fine steak, (filet mignon, ribeye etc.) except a bit of salt. :)
/e Literally, if we even attempted to put anything on a good steak before or after cooking, we weren't allowed to eat it. Not kidding.
Thats why i use what i use, It doesnt really change the taste of the steak, Just enhances it
