I had a old sucker catfish in my tank one it must of been around 7 inches long. I had it for like 8 years or something then one day it died. I didn't notice it died until it started decaying though since it didn't like to move a lot anyways.

Yeah it's hard to tell with those guys....if you ever have one in the future...it's lack of algae that kills them.

You can either buy algae pellets or place some small quarter sections of peeled cucumber in there.
