I used the Media Creation Tool to make a Win 10 Home x64 DVD, and the ISO came out at 3.99GB.

Tonight I direct downloaded (from MS) the Win 10 Home? x64 ISO and it's 5.04GB. Pretty weird.



/e Both the Media Creation Tool and the direct download page asked if I wanted 32/64 bit (I chose 64 bit), They both asked for language and I chose English. The only difference I can see is that neither asked what version of Windows 7 I had, but I would imagine the Media Creation Tool... knew I was on Win 7 Home, and the direct download, didn't "know" that.

I ordered the comp parts on the 29th... Wednesday. The first tracking notice I got was for the CPU. It said it would arrive Tuesday May 5th. It arrived today.
I've had things arrive a day early before, but this was insane... and, I had chosen the 5-7 day free shipping.

I have no idea what a: 3 months of Xbox Game Pass for PC, i but I have to run a program on the comp with the new processor, to prove, that after I bought it, I am using it.
Ofc, the motherboard I need to run that CPU, hasn't even started to ship yet. I do have until May 30th to run the proof program. But with what I've seen happening to the motherboard I purchased, availability, who knows if I'll ever GET the motherboard.
