Bought an 8700K and my temps seem pretty high, 1.200V 4.7GHz all cores and im doing 85C in x264 with ~23C ambient.

I don't feel any heat coming from the radiator of my H100i V2 if I touch it, the air coming from the radiator fans is cool and one tube feels ever so slightly warm while the other is cool.

Pump must have failed right? Or does it just need a delid that badly

Why are you surprised when you bought an intel on purpose? you're lucky your house is still standing tbh. I ran copper radiator under my entire barn concrete floor and pump my cpu heat throughout the entire building. it keeps the temperature pretty warm in winter.

Not a bad idea

Cut out in hardwood flooring for a 240/360 60mm rad
Small cutouts and conduit route for plumbing
Maybe an extra D5 pump for the extra flow
Place a grill on top

I have 250ft of copper pipe laid in my barn foundation. can connect anything that produces heat to it.
Not that a CPU will help much
