Well the bandwidth on NVlink definitely help SLI in the correct direction. But SLI is still to limited for anyone to recommend running two cards for gaming.
But if games in the future runs like Sniper Elite 4, oh boy 90%+ scaling!

1GB/s on the pre pascal bridge. 2GB/s on the high bandwidth SLI bridge for pascal.
50GB/s for 2080 NVLink and 100GB/s for 2080 ti. Am I missing some information?

In this game there is 70% scaling on the 2080ti sli while on the 1080ti sli there is only 9%
