Windows Personalize will affect all windows on the desktop, AND the desktop itself.

/e Under the Personalize thing, be careful of Themes, it can really change a ton of shyt.

When you have a problem with the way things LOOK, always check the Personalize settings, if that doesn't work...then do DDU/ vid driver, THEN the Personalize settings.

Check this out... I got Control Panel to act like the old days, but I don't remember how. :D

/e Or maybe it always looked that on Classic, and I just never checked.

/ee At the bottom right on Personalize, where mine says solid color....is where you set the wallpaper.

Btw, if you want to make your own wallpapers...

1. Make a .jpg image, 1920 x 1200 (size, for Windows 7), and put it in: C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\(make a folder to put them in)

...and they will show up in the wallpaper selector in Personalize.

The size has to be 1920 x 1200, no matter what size monitor you have. This is a Windows 7 requirement. Also, it must be a .jpg file

Ghot that's one of the great features about classic shell but that might come to end soon

And noob
Dp (sometimes need hdmi)and its plug and play feature can be a hassle at times with multiple displays
Sometimes you might have to cut power from monitor or tv to reset
Or make sure monitors and tv are on first
Many complaints about it
You can also lose its position too
I just keep my monitors on now and let them go to sleep on their own
