arrived like 30 minutes ago. holy fkin sht man, the colors are so amazing when cloneing my desktop onto it it looks better on the tv than on my notebook with an ips panel. im in love.

now all i need is a super good sound system to go with it and a super hot girl to sit next to me. oh and maybe some new quality stuff on netflix for 4k devices.

next test will be console games but im sure it will not let me down. football looked clean and crisp, no smudging at all.

i tried fifa 18, mario kart for wiiu, as well as some ps4 titles like the evil within.

the colors are a blast. i really love it. in fifa there was no problem with the quick motions. i had no smudge at all. even the shooters showed clean pictures wihtout any heavy delay.

wasnt able to test 4k content yet as my internet seems to be too slow. it automatically downgrades to hd everytime i try it.

next thing im gonna do is install some ledstripes with a raspberry pi to emulate phillips ambilight.

You should make a little guide on that as you do it...for science (so I can copy you).

I mixed a bit of those three guides together, To make mine. Currently it isn't hooked up, since i just upgraded my TV. But I have more LED's sitting here that I'll install when im not feeling so lazy.

ok im really mad right now. yesterday the tv asked me if it should update its firmware to newest. being a windows sheep since decades i said yes pls.

since the update the picture is stuttering, watching sports is a no go. the ball draws a smudgy line and stutters. watching normal tv is like a old cartoon with like 1 fps. horrible.

lq support says i should wait for new update. i actually want a new device or a fw downgrade or whatever. not gonna wait months like this. fuck it.

It might not take months. They may realize the problem and be rushing around, working on new update.

but every minute i have to see this im dieing. tried to watch some netflix and got insane after few minutes. i really wanna send this thing back or something. arghhh

Well I would call LG again. Ask them how long till the next update. If it isn't in a couple days, you intend to return the TV. See what they say.
