ghot the point is if it already dried up
can you remove milk coffee juice etc after it has dried to a bottom a glass from soaking it there needs to be some type current in the water like stirring, your degree should have taught ya that

specially around all those crevices on the switches/circuitboard/etc

Like I said 3 or 4 times now, just put the keyboard in a 5 gal. bucket with distilled water for an hour, it WILL remove even the dried spill.
As for "current", sure, after the hour has passed, spin the keyboard back and forth a few times will still in the water.

It's not rocket science folks.

For once, I agree with ghot.

Just stick it in water for a bit, aggitate it back & forth after letting it soak, Then rinse high % rubbing alch over it, Then let it dry.

lol
you should know once something dries it becomes gel like soaking will not dilute it or remove it completely

how do you mix a gel and liquid? yeah current, stirring, shaking. etc

and distilled water can cause rusting in the switches, just depends on the switch

No where up till this point did you mention a current or abrasion.
I did and you tried to argue with me.

Now that someone else also realizes I'm right your like w/e.
Why are you not arguing with him? Tell him to read a book maybe?

To be honest, I didn't think it necessary to mention the need to jiggle the keyboard to remove what the water dissolved. I figured that would be ...obvious.
