I know about the quality issues, as well as the general image of mad catz overall, which is why I started my first post the way I did. It's unfortunate though the experiences you've had. I have personal experience with only 3 of them, my personal 7 and 3, and a friend who has a 5. My 3 was great as I said for ~5 years, still works fine just in a drawer. 7 still working solid, think I got it in February 2016. It's going to be pretty hit and miss with their quality though I'm sure.

Also known to break a lot.
Like a fuck ton, so count yourself lucky.

I didn't mind madcatz but that was years ago buying third party turbo controllers.

Probably going to get some hate because brand, but I use a RAT 7 and wouldn't even consider another mouse. Upgraded from my 5 year old RAT 3 about a year ago, love both. Wanted more DPI and customization from the RAT3. The new series has even higher DPS, which honestly doesn't interest me that much. I'm not a FPS pro so 6400 or whatever is plenty for me.

I actually really liked the rat7 also, But the quality of them is a joke.. I had two of them, Both of them broke (From separate issues) Within a few months.

Not only QC issues, But the Phillips Twin laser or w/e the sensor they use is called... Also suffers from a Z axis issue where it will randomly stop working at times.

If they ever up their game & produce a higher quality rat, I'll probably get one.

Just because it was auto corrected doesn't mean you were not wrong, or excuse any fault (or mean I'm not right)
