i do have two RCA preouts for my receiver i believe. its a 5.2 receiver. so one of the RCA is for my subwoofer. hmmmm but i wouldnt know how to use the 2nd RCA preout to an amp and then from the added amplifier to two speakers? like i dont know if the receiver can then distinguish between left and right speaker. i feel like what i just described is stupid and wont work well lol?


Yeah, as has already been alluded to, preouts to run to a second amp are going to be on receivers that support multiple zones (generally 7.1 and higher).
