ok so the technician was quite a dick as a person. but he did the job and did it extremely fast.

he was here and gone in under 25 minutes. no more than 30 minutes....

he got here, popped off both sides of the panels on the TV. layed all of the circuit boards on the floor.... that was stupid....

replaced the panel.

and was gone. super fast...

ill upload pictures i took when he stepped outside to get the replacement panel, but wtf he left the circuit boards of the TV on the floor, seems a bit careless.

the tv backlight bleed is better now

ok yea its gone. i played the same exact 3 videos in which the backlight bleed was clearly visible before. its gone.

well how he placed them on the floor was a bit sketchy.

he had a blanket for the tv, but the blanket was dirty as shit lol. and i had a clean bedsheet out, but it was just a bedsheet and super thin, so he used his dirty blanket. its fine, but idk, maybe get a clean blanket... uploading pics now

your preconceived notions of how the tv should be handled/repaired was built up by ppl who don't even have 2% of the experience that guy probably has with handling them.

The other best part about having it handled by an engineer that is authorized by the vendor is that if he did fuck it up the damage would be covered.

yea thats true. although its working now, it just seems a bit sketchy to just put the boards on the bare floor and not on something cleaner. yea i swept the floor just 30 min before the tech arrived, assuming he would need to put stuff on the floor.

Dirty mat :

Electronic boards just laying on the floor:

The rear panel:

true, at least he didnt put them on his mat lol

but overall, very happy how well things turned out. quick in and out, swapped the panel. i wonder how much the panel and the quick 30 min work to replace it would have cost if it wasnt under warranty?
