100% sure he meant to short not thin

It's also very thin, but yeah i knew what he meant. there's a standard micro usb port in the back of the keyboard.

if he gets a new cord it's not guaranteed to fit perfectly in that little crevice that it sort of snugly sits in to keep cable stress from going directly to the micro usb port, but eh.

in regards to what, quickfire tk was actually my first mech so i remembered
the wire was flimsy as hell
and i ended up dropping it for a black switch board because reds were insanely sensitive

My qf came with thick braided cable hmm

Also my g700 mouse cable worked with it

It was braided yeah but not thick, the one I got afterwards which was steelseries has a THICK cord like something that would come from a vacuum cleaner.

Sorry that's just my opinion of micro usb in general; it feels fragile to me especially where it connects. I liked the cable on my steelseries kb a lot more even though it was not modular.

And for the record: I never said it was low quality. It's fine, just remember to unplug it from the kb before taking it anywhere.

The main way the quickfire compensates for fragile micro usb connection is that nestled gap for the braided cable where it fits perfect, you may not be able to make use of that feature with a new cable, so an extender or hub might be preferable.

I guess it is mini, I was getting it confused with the connection on my wacom tablet.. which is definitely micro
I haven't used it in years, but the point still stands about a replacement cable possibly not fitting perfectly
