No your statements were both dumb. He's asking about spending $100-$150 for a better processor and you want him to spend $650+ for a new 1080 Ti. You don't need to run Witcher 3 at 144 fps. It looks fine at 60 -- objectively. It runs smooth.

At 1440p a 1080 Ti gets like 100 fps.
