you cant say no returns on ebay
and paypal will always back the buyer.

also nb4 he swapped the cards.
always make a small defect to identify your stuff.
I usually heat a pin and make a tiny dot somewhere on plastic.

Seems like solid future advice tbh

I tend to lean towards people not being scumbags, but i guess i should know better by now

No they just have a huge fraud issue, especially with asian countries.
tbh if they didn't protect me I'd never use it, no one would.

I've never been denied a claim, then again I also give them a video of me opening each package.
Or they agree that when I buy something and they say 30 days to arrive and it arrives 3 months
later I shouldn't have to pay 20x the items cost to return it cause i had to buy said item locally.

yes

i called them, talked so some duffman sounding guy on the phone (most wont get that reference)

he told me he cannot give me any money. he cant do anything.

i said "OK so the card did work, the buyer said it did work, but he couldnt get it to work in his pc, so i sent him a valid item, and somehow this mmakes me lose 30$ and he pays no consequences???"

"yes"

"close my account"

This is why ebay pushes you to use free shipping when selling something. You can't recoup the cost of shipping when this happens. Just a reminder but he also had to pay a shipping cost to return it to you. Unless you sent him the money for shippinmg.

I stopped using ebay and went to other places like Anandtech and EVGA for this reason and this reason alone.
