Not outdated mate, was posted a month ago. It's just giving examples of the difference between a streaming comp and a gaming comp

Last updated a month ago. Not created?

You said it was out of date. It's updated as of one month ago. You're still wrong.

The OP was asking for solutions on how to stop lagging while streaming, using a seperate pc is an option, and a much cheaper one than doing what most of the people in this post have suggested.

I'm not sure other people are too stupid to realize that.

Are you using nvidia or amd encoders in obs?

X264

NVENC looks worse but renders on the same dedicated encoder on the GPU as Shadowplay does therefor runs with ease. If I had Twitch partnership I could just up the bitrate, resulting in better quality at very low CPU load. Alas, I do not have such luxury.

Twitch partnership is what enables transcoding into different quality outputs for Twitch viewers. As most viewers would have problems watching 8000Kbps stream, you have to stick to <4000Kbps, for most it's more reasonable to be at <2500. To get Twitch partnership you need to have an average of 500 unique viewers while you broadcast or have other conditions filled (like expanding to streaming while having a popular Youtube channel)

I figured you could guess I don't have average of 500 viewers. The first thing that came up from google with "the Luxury" was a beer garden, might as well make a joke.
