You mentioned newer TVs coming out with motion interpolation... I replied that my 8 year old plasma (Kuro) is superior to any LED or OLED TV ever produced when it comes to handling motion, only rivalled by later generation Panasonic and Samsung plasmas (50/60 series for Panny and E/F series for Sammy)

Why no 1440p 165hz option?
I'd personally snag 3440x1440 100hz over all those options.

Most games are made for 1080p because consoles rule the world. 1080p master race.

Guys I dont think GTX 1070 is strong enough to even reach 144fps FPS in most AAA games unless you're turning graphics setting way down (not something I like to do). Not on 1080p or surely not 1440p. This I'm why I'm learning towards 1080p 144hz.
I'm basing my estimates on this video for example:
It looks like a GTX 1070 would not be strong enough to push 1440p at constant 60+ fps. It barely can do that on 1080p based on that video. I like stunning graphics and I hate fps drops. Anything under 55fps is noticeable, strains my eyes, and just annoys me. I see many many 144hz monitors but i think i'd be just as well off with a 120hz in this case. Reason i'd do 120hz is if it saved me money. Problem is i'm not finding many. I dont want to spend more than $300.
