Honestly, that or the MSI is probably more cost effective than the Razer Balde. But like I pointed out before, I decided on the Razer for the looks (I'm into sleek and thin laptops; anything bulky and/or plastic is a nono). In either case, almost anything will be a HUGE upgrade from my 2011 Alienware M14x.
Money isn't an issue for me here, nor is which laptop "model." I simply wanted to see what everyone's opinions were on Full HD vs QHD+. So far here is what I've taken from it in terms of pros/cons:
Full HDMatte Design (No glare on screen)
Better viewing angles (Not sure how useful this is as I only view my laptop from 1 angle anyway)
Better battery life (by 1-2 hours)
Better performance for gaming (higher fps; I assume due to less CPU usage to render graphics etc?)
More cost effective
Better program support?
QHD+Better picture quality and words are more clear (which alone will sell me on the laptop as long as I don't have to sacrifice performance and run into compatibility issues)
Offers touch screen option (I'll never use this because I'm OCD and cant stand finger prints on my screen)
Can set to 1920x1080 resolution for gaming if needed? (Need to confirm this one; someone in "source 2" mentioned it can only go down to 1600x900 resolution. Which is less sharp than 1080p.)
"Future proof"
