bacvk up data? like put all important files into a usb and reformat?
back up to a external device, can be a usb (if large enough) otherwise you can use blank cds/dvds/external harddrives with all the important information, then after the important stuff is removed proceed to reformatting your hard drive, during the process of reinstalling the os, when it ask you what hard drive to use, delete the drive first, then install the os on the hard-drive that was set back to default space allotted, this will ensure everything from the old os was removed! Then proceed installing the rest of the os, if you have any questions let us know!
