NZXT S340 Glossy Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Case

I have plenty of room as is.

i wasn't suggesting you get a new case, i was referencing something else entirely.

Code
Kraken x61

Probably going to pick this up.,

Any other upgrades yall have in mind.

Your build is really nice. Get the Kraken x61, try to lower the temp in the room the computer is in.

why suggest them then? lol.
noctua D15, be quiet dark rock pro 3, dark knight, i actually heavily prefer air cooling. but, gone are the days where people were proud to show their giant megahalem and full tower case.

Alternative is custom loop. Air sucks.

orly
lets not be hasty

have you seen benchmarks of big air coolers vs AIO's? also, alot of cases have obstructive air flow. if you have clear paths for air, temps become much better.

If you're going to spend 85 dollars on an air cooler atleast get something that looks good.. the DH15 or w/e it is... UGLY as sin.

You're really asking the guy with a 5000 pc build.. not exactly going to agree with air cooling

Your problem is that, you have Intel Speed Step enabled.
Your cpu Idle is @ 1.6 ghz. Probably running near 33C Temp
When your PC see's you moving your mouse, it probably makes the CPU load 20% @ 1.6 ghz , causing roughly 34 to 35 C.
Now when you open lets say fire fox, and type www.facebook.com
Your CPU will then go up to 4.0 ghz @ like 8 % load, or sometimes even 1.6 ghz, @ 80% load causing 42 C temp.
now when you go to upload a picture or a video, and maybe have youtube open or something, now thats where you will see the 4.0 ghz @ 30% , near 50C temp.
Or any common video game like world of warcraft , or league of legends, this is where you will hit your max load % , and max heat, and even still for games like that... if your at max load, or have 69 C, there
is either a virus, or you obviously didn't bother to Update your ram settings in bios.

That's not how speedstep works, He's working with Videos... It requires a bunch of CPU power, Why the fuck wouldnt it run 100%

What does 100% load & temps, Have to do with Ram?

There is so much things wrong with this post..

I think the problem is a mixture of..

a: bad cpu cooler
b: rendering in 1080p 60fps
c: I live in New Mexico and it's normally hot here, so I need to keep my house a bit cooler.
d: the temps aren't even abnormal, I just over reacted because every little 'pc monitor' program on my computer was saying it's in the danger zone.
